Abstract

This year we celebrate the 100^th birth anniversary of Professor Anatoly Ivanovich Orlov, an outstanding metallurgist scientist, the founder of the Department of Automation of Production Processes, one of the first to receive this honorary title at Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute, now Irkutsk National Research Technical University.
